Don’t be fooled by Rating. Sonoma’z is a typical hotel restaurant in the Marriott. After reading the reviews, I expected an upscale stand alone restaurant. During lunch, there were only two other tables. The food was fine, not exceptional. The server was excellent, but we were her only table.
Great even for a Marriott. Very fine dining by a young schooled Chef! Arugula Panko crusted Grouper over cous cous w/ grilled asparagus etc was ces’t magnifique. Never to be overpowered by the pesto-esque sauce. All items were unique too . We would come back again.
Outstanding food, wine, and service!. I have dined at Sonoma’z on several occasions and am always impressed with the delicious food, elegant presentation, and curteous service. I also love the unique Flights of Wine and the Summer Patio menu.
