I tried burnt to end brisket, link sausages and ribs. But honestly I didn’t like any of them. The brisket was lean and dry although I asked for a fatty brisket. The sausages was spicy but not tasty. The ribs were just average and also dry. I ordered another portion of brisket and I emphasized I want really fatty and moist brisket but they brought me another portion of dry and lean brisket. The only thing I like about this restaurant was desserts. The pecan pie and bread pudding were really tasty.

This place has delicious meat, which is what one wants when going out for BBQ. The atmosphere has a fun, do it yourself attitude. It’s clean and fast with the added bonus of plentiful outdoor seating (and string lights, I adore string lights). I only kind of liked the mashed potatoes and gravy but the slaw was way to acidic (and I love acid, I’ll drink pickle juice straight, but just a swig or two) and soggy plus the greens were bordering on too much acid is well. Their baked beans were meh, that was one place where they could’ve upped the acid. On top of that the beans were runny, needing more baking time. I realize everybody has different tastes when it comes to baked beans. I like mine thick and rich with a caramelized skin on top, ideally a balance of sweet, spicy and tangy. They have a vast variety of sauces to chose from but honesty, the meats are so delicious you could happily go without. I think next time I’ll get a half chicken and some ribs to go and make my own corn, beans and greens.

Good BBQ but the location is terrible. Very little inside seating, some outside but better hope the weather is nice. And come early as they sell out early and then they close early.
