Yummmmm!. Holy moly this place is delicious! If you can get past it’s less-than-stellar location, once inside you’ll forget you’re in a strip mall. It’s dimly lit and well decorated. Some people don’t like dimly lit restaurants but it was just my boyfriend and I on a date so it was totally fine with us. The bread and dipping oil with spices was a great way to start the meal. I ordered the El Portillo Malbec but the menu did not provide any years for the wines so I’m not sure what year it was. It was pleasant to go with my meal but by far not the best Malbec I’ve ever had. My boyfriend ordered the spaghetti and tried the meatball and the sausage. I don’t like meatballs so when I tried it I was impressed by the super thick noodles are different and good. His were a little over cooked but not too much for it to be a big deal. I couldn’t decide what I wanted from the menu so I got the Baked Combo (Rigatoni Supreme, Lasagna, Cannelloni Florentine). I was super impressed by the presentation. It looked like all three were scooped out of a premade pan, put on one plate, covered with cheese and set under a broiler. Depsite it’s appearance, it was absolutely delicious! The boyfriend even helped me eat quite a bit of it. And there was still leftovers for lunch the next day. This is a place we definitely plan to return to in the near future!

I have been dining here for years. I love their sauces, especially the gnocchi sauce, it is made in-house.It is nice to see young staff working politely.I also like the fact that it is NOT a chain restaurant.

Food was very good, mostly. Salad was I think bagged, which would be fine, if not wilted and not had the iceberg core on the plate. Cleanliness is something this restaurant could really work on. The floors are sticky when you walk through. The bread plates we were served had leftover food on them. The menus and wine list were incredibly sticky. Lets just say this could use a steam clean from top to bottom. We went with small children and the music was loud and inappropriate. When we asked the station was changed and the volume lowered, for a bit, before becoming loud again. The wine list is also lacking as there are no years listed on the menu, leaving you to wonder what they’re offering. Can’t be that hard to update in this day and age. Restaurant is obviously dated and seems to be lacking TLC. Too bad.

Great Italian food and ambiance without having to go to Denver or Boulder…food is high quality and not overpriced. Wait staff is as good as you can ask for, definitely a favorite for Longmont!
