Went for breakfast with my wife, was told there would be a 10 min wait because there were no tables, even though I could see an open table. Just then an incomplete party of 3 came in and were seated at the open table right away. Really? After a few min we were seated at a 2 person table. From there the service was slow, the coffee was awful, had to ask for anything we needed (e.g. cream, utensils & ketchup), the potatoes were soggy, and my over medium eggs came out borderline sunny side up. On the plus side, the after meal mint helped get the taste of the coffee out of my mouth.

Great Restaurant, Great Food. My husband and I have been regular customers at Sun Rose ever since they opened. The owners, Susan and Steve, couldn’t be more friendly. No matter how busy they are they always stop by our table with a kind word. The rest of the wait staff is the same. The food is remarkable and fresh. The breads come froom Boulder Breadworks and the eggs are from Mountain Shadow Farm in Berthoud. They recently added waffles to the menu-some of the best I have ever tasted.Their soups are truly homemade and incredible and their salads and sandwiches are fresh. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!
Great service! Delicious food! The owner and staff are pro at what they do and the food is very affordably priced for the quality of ingredients. Best veggie sandwich in Longmont. Don’t miss their desserts either. In a fan of the brown butter pear tart.
Best kept secret in Longmont. They have a pretty nice menu with a great selection of meats and cheeses. Everything they prepare if made fresh and to order. I have eaten there several times in the past couple months, and my favorite is there Salami Pesto Panini, although the Sun Rose Omelet we had for breakfast last weekend was excellent.They prise themselves on creating great flavor combinations, and they succeed. We will return to Sun Rose again and again.
Absolutely Fabulous!! Their Lavendar Lemonaide is to die for and they have the best pannini’s in Boulder county. Great customer service, gorgeous atmosphere, and an overall amazing dining experience. Highly recommended.. 10+ stars!!
