Good chinese food. The menus is pretty typical, but it’s still good. The service is fast, and the delivery is pretty fast. I haven’t actually eaten inside, I’ve only had it to go so I can’t really talk about the service and whatnot.
Small and inconspicuous, driven by this restaurant dozens of times and never tried is is so unassuming. Wish I would have tried sooner, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food was very good. Large portion, reasonable prices, you may not be wowed but you can’t go wrong.
Don’t let the construction or unflattering building dissuade you, this tasty treat in the heart of Longmont is a crowd pleaser. I am new to town, so trying to find a Chinese food steady brought me to a blind date with Tasty Asia. I started with the Pu Pu Platter, replete with excellent crab wontons and fried shrimp. Entrees were Sesame Shrimp whose quality deep fry gave me perfect crispy bites in a fantastic sauce. General Tsos chicken was not as spicy as I like but perfectly cooked. The combo fried rice was full of meat and smoky savory. I absolutely will go back. You should too.
Check your delivered orders. My dinner arrived at the hotel with no rice. I called back and politely informed the manager. The hotel is five minutes from the restaurant and the owner told me it would be 45 minutes or more for the rice to arrive because they were too busy. When I told her I didn’t have a way to reheat the meals she said so you don’t want the rice then ? I could have checked before they left but what difference would it make. Food was just fair. Same as Panda Express .
My favorite Chinese restaurant in CO. Great price (especially lunch), perfect small restaurant, fast service, friendly staff, & delicious food. The shrimp/veggie Low Mein is my favorite dish.
