Blah. Nice place, good service, blah food. I’ll go back to Thai Kitchen or drive to Aloy in Boulder. Had the Pad Thai which is my control dish whenever I try a new Thai restaurant. The dish was bland (3 spiciness) and colorless. Couldn’t tell the difference between the chicken or the egg. They were both the same color and texture. Won’t be back to see if the Massaman (my favorite) is worth the hefty price. Gonna stick with Thai Kitchen, it’s cheaper and better.
Stick with Thai Kitchen. The portions we received were small for an $11 entree. My fiance got the pineapple fried rice with chicken. There was hardly any chicken in it, and it was extremely dry. It was as if they cooked the rice and coated it with a lot of curry powder, which was literally the only thing you could taste. It just coated your tongue and drinking water between bites was the only way to eat it. I had the Thai Basil (Pad Kra Pao). That is my go-to dish at any Thai restaurant. Sadly, this was the worst I’ve ever had, I couldn’t even finish it. The ingredients tasted like they were all cooked separately, and the chicken nor the veggies got imbued with the flavor of the broth, or the other way around. It was also difficult to eat, as the red peppers and onions were cut into huge chunks. In fact, the onions were still in huge quartered chunks (and still raw) and tasted only of cloves. Aside from that, the dish lacked any taste of salt or other seasoning. It was a greatly disappointing experience, considering all of the great reviews the restaurant received.
Drinks were great, but overall the food was just ok. The noodles were sl. Burnt not a big deal and the Thai Basil was extremely small portion and the beef was over cooked, same goes with the chicken in the pad Thai. May give it another try.
What a great dinner! We went with our toddler for an early dinner and she and we loved it. Kiddo enjoyed the filling for the chicken lettuce wraps and the stir fried chicken and broccoli. We did the special appetizer with a variety of apps, so great to get to try everything. Shrimp Rolls are amazing! Lemon grass chicken delicious. I love there is a spicy scale and you can choose. Highly recommend this place!
