We like Dairy Delite but have never really fallen in love with it. The experience definitely feels like you are stepping back in time. It’s nice to have a place to get a tasty treat on the west end of town.
Enjoyable!. Amazing ice cream, decent food! Its constantly busy, which is a plus I think, shows that people want to go there and come back! Only downside is it is very small, and can be super crowded. Oh and its seasonal, which isn’t cool but hey what can you do 🙂
I love this Chicago style diner. Beautiful staff, great cooks and incredibly hospitable owners. Owners work so don’t be afraid to ask to talk to them. Pumpkin ice cream in season is to die for! Very affordable food and I recommend the Chicago style hot dog. Very good. I’ve never had anything over cooked or burnt. Very very large selection of ice cream products. Give this little shoppe a try!!
Has potential…. This place has potential. Its got the charm of an old school diner, although the food suffers.The food is inconsistent, the burgers are usually cooked until they are nothing more than what resembles a rawhide dog chew. I suspect this is from the fact they start out with frozen patties that are cooked by some high-schooler making minimum wage. The fries are hit or miss whether they are hot or cold when you get them. The ice cream is not consistent either, order a medium dipped cone and it might be 6 tall or is might be 3 tall, as this has happened on several occasions and on the same order.Given that this place is somewhat unique and has no real competitors close by, it has the potential to be great, if only they would step up the quality of the food being served.
Fun, old school vibe. Food is made to order and the ice cream is always a treat. The staff is always smiling.
This small 50’s like diner is a great place to find incredible food at a decent price. Great atmosphere and customizing options on your meal. Only open in the summer
The food was all fresh, hot, and like I’d make at home. Our new fav place!
