Will never go back. The quality of service and food has been rapidly been getting worse at Georges over the last year. Smaller portions, forgotten items in delivery, and mistakes in the order for pizza and gyros have caused me to complain to Georges. I decided to give them one more chance, and sadly the order was once again wrong. Will not be giving them any more business and suggest that others do not either
The Crust. Sorry but i just am not a fan of frozen pizza crust. If you care enough to open a local pizza place take the time to come up with an authentic signature crust
BEST IN CO. I Have pizza all over the world being in the military and this is by far the best tasting pizza Ive had. The atmosphe is great and the staff is super friendly. If you havent been to Georges then I suggest you try it.
Crappy Customer Service. The family was SO excited at the prospect of having gyros for dinner…. We call and do an order to go for 3 beef gyros… Drive ALL the way across town (we live in Campion)… get home and we have some type of, looks like a french dip without the au jus (bread and meat only)… Call the store and am told by Amber that we will have to drive ALL the way back across town because they cannot either replace or give a store credit unless we return the sandwiches that we did not order… Will take our business elsewhere…
Take out issues. I did have a good experience the first time I went to George’s Pizza and Gyros, the second time sadly I did not. They messed up the take out order the second time so badly that when I called to ask them if I might have picked up the wrong order, they told me that they made a mistake. They were nice in trying to make it better by telling me they would give me a credit, but later that next week when I ordered a couple sandwhiches and pizzas they messed it up again. The food is good, but the staff unfortunately seems to be either not educated in the menu, or lacks the ability to write the orders correctly. I would say the cooks are consistant even if it is not always the food I order. I’m hoping for the sake of George’s that they can get the staff to pay attention. We could use a great Chicago place around Loveland. I wish you nothing but the best!
Get the Gyro Pizza – it is terrific, very unique. Not impressed with the Italian Beef – it doesn’t taste authentic Chicago. But the Hot Dogs are spot on!
Not Impressed. We went there and Had The Med Pizza. We were the only customers in there at the time and we waited 40 minutes for a thin crust pizza. Afterward we had found out why, the whole crust was burnt black. We told both people who worked there and showed them. Neither person seemed to care. We didnt have 40 minutes to wait for another pizza. The owner needs to get more involved with his employees, and hire people that are more mature and perhaps older than teens. If this keeps up this place, this place won’t stand a chance either like it’s pizza predecessor.
