Mimi’s Cafe a great treat!. I’d been here for quiche and salad with the girls a few times, and loved the muffin that comes with the meal. But now that I’ve gone several times for dinner, I realize what I’d been missing. The food is so delicious. From the Baked Brie to Share starter, to the Slow-Roasted Turkey, Roasted Chicken & Artichoke Penne, Coq au Vin, fabulous cobb salad or ceasar with salmon, even the french dip – all is smashingly great!!
Clean Up or Close Up. On December 9, my wife and I had lunch Mimis Restaurant during Christmas shopping. The Waitress was friendly and the food delicious. However we were given dirty dishes (a fork, a bread plate, a cup, and a darkly stained white coffee cup). The wall in our booth was spattered with food and written on with pen. Five light bulbs were burned out in row of booths where we sat. Thick curls of dust clung to the overhead ledges. I wonder what the kitchen must be like. Filth will destroy your lovely restaurant if you fail to clean it up. The manager gave us muffins and offered excuses for the filth.
Do not like the change. Mimi’s was one of the restaurants I went to with friends, especially to have their delicious onion soup. Also loved the home cooking menu items they provided. Went again with friends last night and was very disappointed. The menu has completely changed. The onion soup Mimi’s was famous for was not very good, nothing like before. Guess they have new owners and menu has completely changed and food has changed. We were so disappointed.! Just not the same place. Will not go there again. So sad to see the original Mimi’s leave!!
Hit and Miss. The food at Mimi’s is decent, the lunch menu is a great value. The manager always stops by my families table and is very friendly. The pastas, and salads are very good! The service we receive could be better, the past two times we were there our waitress and the hostess were very unfriendly, they didn’t make me want to rush back anytime soon.
Not impressed at all with a place that serves meatloaf, pot pie, jambalya for over $11 dollars each. Not to mention a flat iron steak for $15. Incredibly over priced for my taste.
Dependable. Mimi’s chain is a good dependable choice for decent food. We dined here on Christmas Eve, and still had great service, a smiling waitress, and good food.
