Ive been going here for 1 and a half years now my business is right around the corner and we enjoy ordering from here once or twice a week and as of today i dont think we will be going back latly the quality of the cornbread has gone in the toilet it used to be nice and flakey big peice nice and buttery and now its just a brick thats smaller than half a dollar bill and is the consistency of some thing id expect to get from jail im also very disapointed in the sandwich i got soggy tastlest chicken on a bun that looked like it was dumped in the sink tried to pick it up and it desitergrated in my hand being a local business owner this is very disheartening for me i will no longer be recomending this resturant to anyone im not very happy to say the least the last 3 weeks i have have been getting worse and worse food quality. There phone was off tried to call be for posting this but it just went to voice mail witch just pissed me off more.

Friends last night met us at Mo’ Betta Gumbo in Loveland. I’m from Louisiana and always love finding my down home food here is Colorado and this place is great! The decor, the atmosphere, the food and the friendliness of Mo’ Betta was perfect. We had the fried oyster appetizer – perfect, better than perfect! Big oysters, nicely battered and fried, melted in your mouth! Then I had the Catfish Louisiane – umm! Mighty tasty!! Fried catfish over a bed of rice smothered in crawfish touffe sauce with loads of crawfish! And as required, we all had to try each others food. Patty’s Shrimp and Grits was definite comfort food loaded with flavor and her red beans and rice had the best flavor ever. The red beans and rice definitely made a big, good memory in my mouth and my memory. My husband’s seafood gumbo had more shrimp and crawfish than I have ever seen – oh was it good even if it didn’t have my beloved slimy okra in it, LOL. Perry had the crawfish touffe and I didn’t eat any as that is what I had on top of my catfish so I already knew how good it was! The owner and chef came by to visit and we loved talking with him! He gave us some mardi gras beads and after our visit gave us some wonderful Beignets! They were fresh out of the fryer and steaming hot with lots of powdered sugar on them. The perfect ending to a wonderful night of Louisiana in Colorado – just like me! Thanks Patty and Perry for inviting us to my favorite kind of place to eat – a good cajun/creole party!By the way, Christle May Rochat (pronounced Roe Shay) was the best server ever! We had such a good time with her!!

This was a fun place. I had the crawfish etouffe and I will have to say it’s the best I’ve had since I worked offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Definitely will be going back.
