Seriously NOT Texas BBQ… From a Lifelong Texan! Everything is spicy and/or dry. Who serves fruit chutneys with their meats? Gross, disappointing and tasteless! A link of sausage is maybe 3 inches where in Texas it is a true link… Maybe 12-14 inches. Ridiculous! BBQ sauce is either pepper or vinegar flavored! What is that?? Not Texan!! Save your money and go elsewhere!
Not so good.. This is mediocre BBQ at best. Being from Missouri and having PLENTY of experience with real BBQ this is about as real BBQ as Taco bell is real Mexican. The buns are way too big for the amount of meat you get; they are also dry and flavorless. The meats are hit or miss, probably depending on how many days old they are when they are served. The sides leave a lot to be desired, especially considering the price. I suspect they are not made in-house. They claim Texas-stylethe only thing Texas-style is the fact they call it Texas-styleI would not recommend this place.
Best BBQ outside Texas. I’ve had a lot of BBQ and this is great. The prices are NOT expensive, a little out of the way, but well worth it!
Blah. The food and flavor was very generic and proportions vs. price wasn’t that great either.
Great food! I love the sandwiches! Sometimes there’s nothing better than some bbq and a beer. Serious Texas is a great choice.
Serious BBQ. Straightforward, honest BBQ, in an open-air setting. We tried the pulled-pork sandwich and the sampler. The meat was succulent, juicy and flavorful, with generous portions. They don’t offer alot in the way of sauces (3 choices), but I was pleased with the Cherry Chipotle salsa. The cheesy potatoes were supurb! I recommend for the palette and the wallet.
Good smoked meats. The meats were exceptional, we tried the sampler platter and everyone of the meats was tender and juicy. They only had two sauce choices, neither was very impressive. would like to see them improve on the sauce availability, maybe take a queue from Brother’s or Famous dave’s. I’ll be back though.
