Really like this place because it’s not just a place to enjoy good beer; it’s a place to get great food too. The Blazin’ Burger actually lives up to its name; it was a challenge to eat it, and I enjoyed every minute of it!
What the hell happened?!?. Went there tonight, after a definite menu change and possibly an owner change? The service was poor, our waitress took 15 minutes to get our drinks, it was not like the place was busy either as there was one other table of two and us.I ordered the burger, that was about the only reason to go there. When it arrived, it looked like something I would have gotten at Burger King. They went from a nice 1/2 pound, cooked to order, the was generally juicy and cooked right, to a 1/3 pound what appeared and tasted like a frozen patty. No option to get it cooked to order as it came out well done. The cook/manager insisted it was fresh, however, it certainly looked suspiciously like a frozen patty one can get at Sam’s Club in bulk…The service was lacking, no offer for refills on soda or water, in fact she never came back to check on us until it was time to bring the check. The burgers were the only thing that we went there for, with the recent changes, for the worse to the menu I can say we will not be back.If they are trying to save on food costs, in the long run it will only end up costing them customers…21 Feb, 2012Decent burgers…but that’s about it.. The burgers are fairly decent, usually cooked right and have good flavor. Recently they changed their buns, now they are really thick and extremely dry. It’s hit or miss whether the buns are toasted or not. The Grilled steak sandwich is not worth getting at all, the meat is extremely tough and virtually inedible. The Fish and Chips is decent, fried can’t be all bad.The Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs was indicated by the waitress to be made from scratch, I can tell you it’s not. It is a standard frozen portion covered with gravy made from a mix, and the home fries are frozen. The Atomic Wing Challenge, after all the signing of waivers and other necessary hype, you are brought a basket of wings covered in hot sauce. The flavor was indeed hot, but not the kind of hot one gets from eating say a Bhut Jolokia or a Trinidad Scorpion pepper. It is more the hot one would get from mixing several bathroom cleaners together and then drinking it. Hot yesflavorful not at all, unless you like that artificial, chemical hot flavor they put on Doritos. In all the burgers really are the best thing they have going, and with the recent change in the bun, those are in danger of being nothing special either. The service is usually good and friendly. Prices are reasonable.

I have never had a bad meal at the Sports Station and they also offer breakfast on the weekends which is awesome! I would highly recommend the Sports Station to anyone, great food, great service, and great atmosphere!
