Hidden Gem. The pub is located in the golf course area of Marianna Butte, giving it a lovely view and relaxing atmosphere. We had been to the Wapiti in Estes Park, and were familiar with their burgers and appetizers. However, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality and originality of their other dinner offerings. The service is outstanding and wait time for your meal is short, even when the place is busy. We have been back twice since our first visit, so give it a try, you shouldn’t be disappointed!
Nice Valentine weekend dinner. We ate at Wapiti on Friday night of Valentines weekend. It was a busy evening but we were seated and served promptly in the bar. We enjoyed one of the specials for Valentines – the braised short ribs and a grilled salad with salmon. The meals were good – salmon was slightly over cooked. Other than that it was a perfect evening.24 Nov, 2014Friday nite happy hour. Service in the bar at Wapiti is always good. We always enjoy coming here – selection of beer on tap, food, and service are always consistently good or great. Can’t beat the atmosphere and views from here as well. Loveland is lucky to have such a nice spot to enjoy a terrific meal!
Chicken wings and Rocky Mnt Oysters were RAW. Unfortunately I cannot post a good review about the Wapiti. We took our friends from CA there for dinner recently, as they really wanted to try Rocky Mnt Oysters and a buffalo burger. Though our waitress was really attentive and sweet, the RM oysters were raw. We started eating the smaller ones which were done, but discovered several of the larger ones were blood raw in the middle, GROSS, so we sent them back and asked they bring us fresh ones. They did bring us more, but they appeared to be the same ones we sent back, refried again. The 2nd portion was much smaller than the first. Tacky. Then someone ordered buffalo wings and after trying to eat two of those, she realized those were RAW as well. Pink and red and flat out raw in the middle. GROSS again, So we sent those back and declined to replace them. When we received our bill, they deducted the chicken wings, but not the RM oysters, which was really disappointing and handled badly. As not to make a scene we paid our 95.00 bill and yes 15.00 of that was for the waitress’s tip and left. We probably should not have tipped her at all, but we felt it was the cook’s fault not hers. I emailed the restaurant about this and have yet to hear back from them, this pretty much says it all. TERRIBLE customer service. I would go to Bruce’s Bar in Severance for RM oysters, or the Buckhorn Exchange in Denver, or Willie’s wings in Morrison as opposed to here. Really an awful experience. We will not be returning here.
Wonderful food and a killer view!. Pub sits on one of the most beautiful golf courses in the Colorado front range. We are moving to the area and are thrilled to discover this restaurant! We have dined there about 8 times and the food has been consistently excellent. Great service too!
Great View!. Enjoy a fantastic view and great meal at one of the best places to eat in Colorado.
Golfing in Colorado. After a decent round of golf, I always try to enjoy the great selection of beers on tap as well as sitting on deck to take in the excellent scenery. The food is very good and hits the spot everytime. Great place to relax!!!
One of best places in Loveland. You can’t beat their salmon pasta or salmon diners or their burgers for lunch! The views are fantastic as well as the service. Cookies with the check adds a nice touch!
