Wonderful coffee and service. I like their whole beans, tho’ expensive, are great for grinding and making my own espresso.
Cimarron is by far and away the best coffee place in Montrose, if not the Western Slope. If craft coffee with actual flavor to it (not just burned taste like Starbucks), then this place is for you.
They roast on site. Arhe industrial austere space. Friendly staff and happy to explain the roasting process. Espresso is super smooth.
Excellent coffee and you get to watch, and smell, coffee being roasted. This is the second Cimarron shop, the first being Cimarron Books and Coffee in Ridgway, CO. The same owner. The baristas are knowledgeable, and friendly.
Eric and Nate are not baristas, they are coffee chefs of the highest order. They can brew a cup to your particular tastes. They are masters at coffee. I have had coffee all over the world and none can beat this coffee.
You learn about the roast and flavor style of each different type of coffee if you want. The owner knows his stuff and will enlighten his customers. Will definitely return for another pour over.
Beautiful and new. Coffee roasted on site. Clearly the owner has done his research, he made me the perfect iced coffee!! Loved it!!!
