Ugly cake. My daughter bought her father a birthday cake on oct. 23rd. I have always talked about the beautiful birthday cakes we would get when we were kids. The frosting was smooth as silk and always had the most beautiful pale pink roses on them.I know it has been a long time since I was a kid,but I do believe that cake could still be made just maybe not at this bakery!!!!The cake looked like a 3rd grader just learning cake decorating decorated it,the frosting is anything but smooth kind of a crust on it and no flavor what so ever just grease what happened to BUTTER CREAM ?come on people of Pueblo this bakery is a joke the original owners would be so disappointed as I was.A better cake you could find at any Sams club or walmart what a shame!
I have loved Schusters my entire life, I always look forward to Halloween time because there frosted pumpkin sugar cookies are amazing plus the staff is always friendly and sweet kudos to all!!!
Co-worker brought in Schusters cookies, lemon bars, and brownies. She simply RAVED about the place, but I don’t get what all the fuss is about. The brownies were awful and the cookies just so-so. I’m not from around here; I guess it’s strictly a Pueblo thing.
One of Pueblo’s Institutions. But the people of Pueblo don’t have a clue about quality food. This place is cheap as one of the previous reviewers stated, but that’s because the quality of the baked goods is low. Lots of sugar and shortening in everything. No butter, ever. You would do just as well buying baked goods at Walmart.
The BEST!. I have enjoyed cookies, orange chiffon cakes, donuts and pastries since I was a little girl! Their goodies have a distinct (Delicious) flavor. This is a family-owned and operated business that does an excellent job. I have never been disappointed in any order from Banquet Schusters – in over 55 years! Keep up the good work!
Ordered 10 dozen cookies. Was given an attitude and was refused putting anything else other than the Halloween design they do this time of year. Will never return05 Sep, 2011My wife loves the frosted cookies. But they never are consistently have them
Delicious. I love the donuts, the turnovers (which are huge), and the cookies. Gotta get there early enough, or else they’re out of the good stuff. Also, I have never paid so little for so many treats. All and all, a great bakery.
