Authentic and Awesome. First time i ate at Captain Ds, was in Tyler, TX. Since i moved to Colorado 21 yrs. ago, i have always found they are as good as the first time i tried them in 1989. one distinct difference, they just keep getting better. Catfish is my favorite. Thank you Captain Ds. I love ya!
All batter. Where’s the fish?. We had fish and chips. What came out was what looked like a big fried golden brown fish. In reality it was a big piece of golden brown batter with a very little piece of fish. The fries had a batter on them too. The fries were underdone. although Captian Ds has a tasty batter, we came for fish not fried dough. I would not go here again.
