Delicious yet awful. The Chinese food is amazing, it’s delicious! The resturaunt is usually really clean. The only problem with it is the workers. Especially the manager. They are all rude and obnoxious. I refuse to dine in due to their attitudes. I recommend China lantern but as take out!!
Friendliest folks and the BEST oriental food around our Pueblo!. My family and I have been going to China Lantern for over 20 years and although the owners and chefs have changed, the food quality has not…If any thing it is better and better each time we go. The food is freshly made, the portions extremely huge and the price very very low. I love the ladies that work there. One of the waitress’ can be a bit brash and loud but you learn after a while that that is just her persona and you learn to smile through it. The owner/chef is so delightful and she remembers how long it has been since she last saw you; always welcoming you back…very family oriented and happy. I don’t agree with the review that said there was nothing oriental about the meals served there?! There might be a handful of American dishes offered for those in the mood for great service, great food, but not in the mood for Chinese. My kiddos love the fried chicken (the best in town as well)! Here’s to many, many more years of success to you all! By the way we often take family that are from out of state when the come to visit and they find themselves wanting to eat there several times before they head back home….I would say it is beyond a hit in our family and several friends as well!

Western Food, Not Chinese. China Lantern starts with a salad or American soup, the tea is black, and their specialty is Southern American Fried Chicken. No Chinese work here and the food and atmosphere are not to my liking at all.
