It’s ok. Order at the counter then they bring the food out to you. Potato salad was not good. The brisket had an off flavor. Pulled pork was tender but lacked flavor. It is a very clean restaurant and the staff were all friendly.
Decent BBQ, smoked on site. Side dishes were really good. Friendly staff. And a very clean restaurant. I’m afraid the sauces were the low point – they were ok and obviously made in-house, but nothing special.
Decided to try the prime rib at GG’s. Beware!! Although the size of the prime rib is plentiful you get a well done piece of meat even if you ask for rare or medium rare. Every piece is well done. Also this was the first time I had prime rib with a BBQ sauce flavor. Not appealing. The other overall comment I would make is that you are required to order at the counter as you walk in which can slow up the process. If paying with a debit card you are asked if you would like to tip and how much of a tip you would like to leave. Sorry, the last time I checked tips are given based on the service. How can you tip prior to be served? Seating is limited and if dining alone you may need to share a table with a stranger.If ordering one of the pulled pork sandwiches be prepared to get your pork on top of a bun (which becomes soggy) and have pork n beans poured over the pork. Ends up being a soggy mess.
