Get the slopper, you will not be disappointed. This one and Sunset Grill are the best in town for sure. Grays fries are homemade, so you have to eat them fast or they get soggy, but definitely get an order to share. This place is a dingy dive no doubt, but it has been there forever and there is a lot of history. If you are driving through Pueblo looking for a bite to eat, this is your place.
This place is good overall. I had the slopper with red chile, my boyfriend had the slopper with green chile, both were really good. Fries could’ve used a little help they were a bit droopy and not seasoned enough. We sat on the patio which was nice and shaded. The inside was really cool with hometown memorabilia on the walls, you can tell they are proud of being Pueblo-ians :)))
We were so excited to try Gray’s & were sorely disappointed. Waited nearly an hour for our food & it still wasn’t ready. When we asked at the 35 minute my about our order another waiter told us there were lots of big parties ahead of us and would be another 10 min. We actually waited the next 10 minutes and still nothing. Our waiter never told us about the wait. What a waste!
