Kan’s Kitchen is under new ownership since March 2016, my first visit was October 2016. Whole new menu and all new flavors. Large group to feed so ordered a verity so we could sample. My first experience with Foo (ordered beef) and Bang Houy (ordered shrimp). The Foo broth was amazing, added in the jalapeno, chives, and cilantro that was included. Since I like spicy I also added some of the sriracha they included. The Bang Houy shrimp was seasoned perfectly and had just enough to satisfy. The fish sauce that went with it was also perfect with the diced garlic. We will definitely be going back soon.
Sesame Chicken. The sesame chicken is a great treat in pueblo. The chicken is cut into small bits the deep fired to a golden brown in a yummy batter, then tossed in a sweet honey based sauce. The flavors of the batter and the sauce mix like sweet flavored fireworks in your mouth. I would recommend this dish to everyone, and suggest that you give Kans a try.
Good Dive. Don’t let the looks of this place fool you, it’s one of Pueblo’s best Chinese eateries. It’s cheap and has huge portions.. I can rarely finish a takeout box in one sitting. The Chicken Lo Mein is great, but I have yet to try something I didn’t like from the menu.
Modest appearing place that serves up generous portions of surprisingly tasty Mongolian Beef & sesame chicken (the dishes we tried). The sesame chicken was deep fried small strips topped with a sweet sauce that was honey based.
Surprisingly Good!. The decor and the personnel would not make you believe that you are in for a treat at Kun’s Kitchen, but the food is rather good with lots of vegetables. Not a bad place to go for lunch on your own.
