Quick and easy. Food’s awesome, just go ahead and start on choosing your items/sauce and the cook will grill it up for you on the stirfry. Lunch rush is usually noon, and dinner at six, so arrive a bit early to beat the rush. waitress greeted me and my wife and we got seated pretty fast, we went up to the counter to pay for our meal, the lady who took our tab was sweet and receptive, she asked if our time there was fine.
Very rude hostess. I stated what the prices show at the grill. She says those are lunch prices but does not state that. Then she says no refunds walks away. Will not go back
Rude and insulting owner. The food was okay, though lower quality meats and a far more limited selection than the BD’s chain and many other mongolian bbq restaurants around the USA and Canada. The soup was not tasty. Waitress was friendly, but overworked, as she was the only one there for many tables, so it was very slow getting our drinks…. When we politely told the owner that it was too hot for us and it would help if they turned on the a/c (high temp today was about 95), she became sullen, refused to answer at first, mumbled something in another language right at me, did not turn on the a/c for us (including our baby and my visibly pregnant wife), and kept walking by after that to glare at us. Very strange and demeaning…. Then when I thanked the waitress and gave her a tip, she said that her boss had ordered her not to speak with us and not to serve us any further (e.g., by bringing more water or offering refills on the sodas we PAID FOR)………. Finally, when I went up to pay the bill, the owner refused to look at me, made me wait even though no other customers were at the counter, and loudly talked in her language on her cell phone / bluetooth while making me wait and wait and wait. By far the rudest, weirdest restaurant experience we’ve had. WE ARE NEVER GOING BACK.
I drive from Colorado Springs just to eat at Mongolian Grill. /review
Great!. This place is great. My father wanted to try some Mongolian food sometime just for something new and we decided just to try it. We looked like idiots, because it was the first time we’ve been there, and thought it was a buffet. When they explained it to us we got everything and started chowing down. The food is amazing and very tasty. The service is not bad at all. If I would do anything different with the place is hire more people, because it can get busy. I recommend this food to anyone looking to try something new.
A nice change of pace. A wide variety of fresh vegetables and meats added to noodles, then combined with your choice of nearly 10-15 different sauces and spices, then cooked over a giant flat top grill while you watch. Pretty simple, and pretty tasty. Three different bowl sizes to choose from, and the price includes a small bowl of steamed rice and a cup of soup. as a previous reviewer mentioned, it’s plenty of food, and most likely you’ll find yourself taking some home, especially if you choose the large sized bowl. One note of caution though: if you are sensitive to hot peppers as I am and do all you can to avoid them, then do what I do. Point out to the cooks that you don’t want ANY hot peppers and request they clean the grill first before cooking yours. What happens is that there might be 2 or 3 separate orders on the grill at the same time, being pushed around as they cook. If any of your neighbors loaded up on peppers, you WILL get some in your bowl as well unless you point it out to the cooks.
Awesome…. This is a little bit of heaven right out of Pueblo. From the outside it looks like every other Asian american food joint in america. Even on the inside, it doesn’t look all that special, though it is clean. But you get in line, pick your bowl size and stock up on anything and everything you could want in a meat/veggie/lo mien/sauce stir fry dish. They cook it up right in front of you and it tastes amazing. It does take a few minutes to cook, but at least you get to watch! Oh and everyone was very pleasant. Great Service, Great Food, Great Prices (Dinner is about $6-$11 person depending on the bowl side. We picked the large bowls and both took about 2/3rd’s of our food home).
