Which Pass Key do you like best?. I like the Passkey off HWY 50. The Grinders are bigger and better, the sevice is nicer, and you always want to go back and take your family and friends with you. The Abriendo Passkey is not what it used to be, I don’t know why, and I am glad the one on Norther closed–blaaag.Long time patron.

If you haven’t had a sausage sandwich in Pueblo you have to go to Pass Key…simply the best. The one on Abriendo is better than the other two however.

Definitely the worst of the Pass Keys, which is sad since it has the most character. Last time I went in their my waitress was a sleazy red head with no business in hospitality. The menu lacked favorites from the other locations and the sandwich just wasn’t the same.

Aweful. My son’s hamburger was so burned we took him McDonalds afterwards.

I recently relocated to Pueblo, and I reasearched the eats scene pretty thoroughly before I did. Passkey was #1 on my list of places to try, and now I’m a total convert. The Super is my guilty pleasure: lots of melty cheese with their signature spicy sausage patty touched with just enough lettuce & mustard on very good bread. Fries are always crispy & hot. Pro tip: bite the end off of the yellow peppers & drizzle the juice on the fries. SO GOOD. Also, ONLY the Abriendo location gets my business. The one on Northern is awful and the one on Highway 50 just isn’t quite the same.

Changes. I grew up in Pueblo and return often. The grinder has changed over the years in a significant way. I used to travel to Pueblo just for the grinder but no more. I do not know what the changes are, I never wanted to waste the time to analyze the situation. I think the owners need to go back to the recipe they used in, say, 1960 or 1970.
