Worth seeking out. We travel to Pueblo yearly to buy green chili’s. We ALWAYS make the drive out to Shorty’s. They’re green chili stew is the best in town hands down. My husband and I ate Slopper’s at several places in town including the two on the travel channel and were underwhelmed to disgusted – until we ate them at Shorty’s. Now we understand what the perfect Slopper is, absolutely delicious indulgence. Specials are also excellent and we’ve had the best eggplant we’ ve ever eaten there. Don’t let the location or laid back bar decor fool you. They are making serious food here and heavenly green chili stew. GO, Please! We want Shorty’s to be around for a long, long, time.
