Best Sushi, I went there for lunch service was good, the waiter was talkative and polite. The sushi was fresh, not to pricy for this area I was pleasantly surprised.
Love to hate. I have been to this restaurant a few times. The restaurant is owned by a husband wife team. The wife is chatty and endearing, the husband has an attitude that is somewhat arrogant like he is some great chef and you should be in awe of him. I don’t care for him at all. However, the food is good. The lunch waitress is good the nighttime waitress not so good. When I ordered a glass of wine they gave me a shot of wine for five bucks. I sent it back and told them either give me glass of wine or give me water that I was not paying for a shot of wine. They added to it but it still only about 2/3 full from a normal glass of wine. I hate a restaurant that tries to short you on drinks and this took it to an extreme level. I won’t go back between the male owner and the wine thing. I don’t owe them the pleasure of dining in their restaurant . They should get their act together on the customer service side. They have lost a patron that would happily go back if it were not for their cheapness and the guys attitude. The food side is good, just don’t order anything other than a beer or water.
Most authentic sushi in Pueblo. Thank goodness for high quality tuna, not tuna scape. Perfect nigri and standard rolls. If you are looking for deep fried rolls this is NOT the place for you. Try the San Diego Salmon, Garlic Tuna, and Age Dashi tofu. Also has cooking tables which are fantastic for groups and the chef can be hilarious, especially after a vusit or two.
Very no good. This place is no good, bad food, bad service, to expensive. Dont waste your money here! nasty food, cheap japanese fast food, warm ugly suhshi, worst sushi ever! the old sushi man could hardly move and was totally out of it. The older Japanese lady who served us was rude (bad additude) and seemed to be doing shady things with the bill (very uncomfortable), food and drinks were way over priced and seemed to have different prices than the menu had posted. Food was not worth it, this place is shady.
Love this place! Great service and good people. I would highly recommend the cooking tables. An all around great place to eat
Not so good…. Nevermind the fact that my dirty martini without vermouth was anything but dirty with extra SWEET vermouth, the food was nothing to write home about. Sushi is one of my favorite foods and I’m not very picky about what I eat. If it has raw fish and rice, I’m set. But the one time I ate here, the fish was warm and tasted a little past it’s prime. I do have to say however, that the owner and sushi guy were very friendly and made the experience somewhat enjoyable. All in all, probably won’t be dining there anytime soon.
