  Executive assistant. I love this place for the food, it has been consistantly outstanding and the presentation is awesome. staff is always helpful and friendly, however sometimes the service takes a while. the acoustics are terrible, you sometimes can’t hear yourself think or enjoy conversation. need to add coffee to your menu.the food and freindly staff make up for the poor acoustics and sometimes slow service.

  Mediocre food, excellent service.. I wanted to like this place because the staff were very friendly and it had a nice atmosphere but the food wasn’t the best. I ordered the nigiri sampler (as I always do) with the California roll and although the fish was good the rice was lacking. I’m of the opinion that you can judge a sushi restaurant by the way they make their California roll and theirs was just so-so. Good sushi isn’t just about fresh fish and fancy serving platters. The rice needs to be rinsed, cooked perfectly and seasoned just right especially when serving nigiri. Most restaurants don’t add enough seasoned vinegar (or any at all) which causes the rice to fall apart when you pick it up with your chopsticks. You should be able to dip it in the soy sauce without it coming apart. I also tried the fresh toro nigiri which should have been amazing for the $9 I paid for 2 small pieces but I got a bad cut which had lots of sinew which made it chewy and didn’t taste any better than tuna steak.In contrast, our waiter was awesome and the service was excellent.
