This restaurant use to be great!! Now, its definitely NOT!!! The service was absolutely terrible, 20 min before we went & ordered our steaks ourselves. The meat was very tough & full of tendons (which, yes I know it couldve just been where that cut came from, but 3 of our 18oz steaks had maybe 6 oz of edible meat)!! Salad bar was wonderful!! The size of the sides have decreased in half!!! Waitress never asked if sides were ok, never asked if wed like refills, she truly brought us our sides & that was it!!! The shower curtains on the womens bathroom doors are downright DISGUSTING!!! The table top was disgusting! I get nostalgia, but please, clean!!!! Its apparent that these folks have no competition.

They’re NOT closed…. Contrary to popular belief, the Mint is NOT closed, they just do a great job of looking like it during the day. They are specifically a dinner restaurant and open every day at 5:30pm. I’ve always enjoyed my meals here, and of the two or three places in Dillon/Silverthorne that serve steak, the Mint is the only place I go to when I feel like I need a decent one.

Awesome food and experience. If you’re visiting Silverthorne, go with your friends and family here and expect a great experience! Friends and I went skiing for spring break and we all dressed up for an evening at The Mint. We knew to expect to grill our own meats, and it was incredibly fun. Lots of pictures of our group around the grill and even those who didn’t know how to grill still had some great food!
