All started well. Great host offered the lunch menu as we were on the cusp. Ordered two drinks- dry gin martini and ‘fig street’ (martini was great, fig street was weak). Things took a turn for the worst when we ordered the charcuterie, pat and cheese plate. I love pat and just had some a few days prior that was amazing. The pat was very grey on the surface and pink in the middle, and had been refrigerated until extremely firm. However I tried it with an open mind. It tasted like bad fish. It was horrible and had turned at best. After 30 minutes, empty drinks and plates a server finally asked how our meal was. We politely mentioned that it had turned. The bar tender was very nice and said he would bring it up with the manager who came over to let us know that it was not bad and we just aren’t familiar with pat. We didn’t even address it but recommended that they do not serve it to others. They charged us full price and said they were sorry we didn’t like the food today. Yes we were also sorry we didn’t appreciate their rotten food and poor service.
