Awful, awful, old food!. The only reason we ate at this restaurant was because of the good reviews. What a disaster!!! OLD FOOD!!! DISGUSTING! 1/2 Star is all it’s worth.Let’s start with the fact that the locked side door is street side. We got there early & thought the full glass doors weren’t open.. When we came back, a waiter & bus boy were standing by the door & saw us trying to open the door, checking our watches, but completely ignored us. When we finally walked around, we were so surprised we actually asked the concierge about it. She seemed surprised and brushed it off! I guess the one good thing was that the wait staff was very attentive. We came midweek, on Wednesday. I believe the food we got was probably prepped for the weekend before or even earlier and hadn’t sold. The outside of the egg roll was nice and crispy, but the inside was mushy. Like mashed potatoes. How on earth is cabbage mushy unless it’s old? Absolutely no flavor. Next we got Egg Drop soup. It was lukewarm and still congealed because it wasn’t warm. Really, how hard is it to make egg drop??? The combination fried rice taste was so mediocre and dry, which was surprising because the color of the rice was so dark. The rice was totally dry (which in my book equals old) and hard to choke down, 3 shrimp for the whole dish! My husband ordered some chicken & vegetable platter and it was the only thing which wasn’t completely gross. In Denver you can get much better quality Chinese food for a quarter of the price. Fancy decor and super service is NOT equivalent to a restaurant. I would not come back here again!!
