Five of us are here on a Wednesday night, stayed and listened to the bluegrass band. We were seated immediately on time for our reservation. Service was on point. Food was fabulous. Place was packed. We got our food in under 10 mins. Sliced brisket,ribs, pulled pork, the boat load sandwich, and the Ruben. All were very good.Music was top notch blue grass. New owner was stopping by the tables, bussing tables, serving food……You may read on this site that the old atmosphere and quality foo are gone since the change in ownership. That’s simply not the case. This place is better than ever.
The NEW Smokehouse Restaurant!. Under new owners since July 4, 2014.. This ia an all new experience. Dramatically improved appearance, service and most importantly..the food. Brisket is thick with a nice rub and smoke taste. I love the spicey BBQ sauce. But the meat is worthy of being tasted without sauce! The fried okra is wonderful..strong compliment from a Texan who loves his local BBQ and fixins!This is a must visit even if your prior experience was not great..the new owners have made a180 degre turn in improvement!
This is the best BBQ in town! The new owners have done a fantastic job with the food and atmosphere. I love to add the sliced brisket to my salad to make it a meal. The baby back ribs are truly amazing and the dry rub wings will keep you coming back time and time again.

Nice smoke, quality meat, rub flavor does not need sauce just good on its own04 Aug, 2014New ownership and new menu. Smokehouse has changed owners July 2014, menu has been updated, interior is much nicer. Quality of food is very good. I have tried sliced brisket, pulled pork, and sausage and very good. They have 3 different sauces but I found the meat flavor to be very good just due to the rub and good smoke. Staff was very friendly and prompt.
