Worst Dining Experience Ever The Cabin. My worst dining experience ever, particulary in relation to the expectation at an upscale restaurant was at the Cabin Restaurant in the Steamboat Grand Resort (Hotel) in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The food was less than mediocore and service was aganozing. There are so many restaurants to select from in Steamboat that it was a big mistake to choose the restaurant within the hotel as a matter of convenience. There are free shuttles to downtown, get on one!
