Don’t miss it!. Best breakfast in Steamboat! Small place though, so be prepared to wait for a table. It’s worth it!
We eat at Winona’s every Saturday. Glad to see that their super-awesome pancakes and waffles can be had gluten-free (a gluten-free that is doesn’t compromise the awesome).
The food was really good, well worth the short wait. The service was prompt and attentive, but not very genuine. I didn’t feel loved and that they really wanted me there.

Double dose of Winona’s. We ate at Winona’s twice for breakfast during our 5 day stay in Steamboat. The first time was on Sunday – it was a packed house. That’s part of the reason we went; most certainly when there is a wait the place is good. And we weren’t disappointed. I don’t know what kind of bread they use, but both the wheat and the sourdough were soft and tasty. My scrambled eggs were just right. I was dubious of the sausage patty because it looked a little over cooked, but it wasn’t. On the second visit I ordered some biscuits and gravy, which is just listed as a side dish to something else, but they accommodated the request. Unfortunately, they were cold and I had to send them back. When I got them back they were nice and warm. If you need to fuel up before a ride or a run or a day out and about in Steamboat, Winona’s is a good choice.

Perfect Breakfast Spot for the Active. Several people have commented on the size of their cinnimon rolls, and I’m going to have to do the same. WOW!! But don’t get blinded by them, check out the entire bakery case before you sit down. They have homemade muffins, scone and cookies that are amazing. I had their homemade granola with fruit and yogurt. It was perfect before our long bike ride.
