Nothing special. Food wasn’t very good and neither was the service. I wouldn’t want to return here unless they changed a lot. Pretty expensive too. The only thing I liked was the building aesthetics
One of the best Mexican restaurants in Denver! Great food, and great service. I have been going here since I was 5 and the food is still as fresh and delicious as I remember it.
Don’t do it! Horrible food and I was especially disappointed with how gross their margaritas were! Ick! It’s like a cheesy fast food casa Bonita type place. Good Mexican food atmosphere and service is decent but food mediocre/poor/disappointing and margs…super duper sweet…just not good.
OVER RATED. Food is not very good. Service is slow and not friendly. Long wait to get seat even if tables are empty. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and have tried it about 6 times over the years, usually because we are invited by friends that have never been there but heard about it, we go with a hopeful outlook that it improved. So far it hasn’t.
Zipline Food….. If you like to eat food on a zipline..this is the place for you! You wait forever for a table…then you get to enjoy eating your food slammed on your table 3 seconds after you order it with a mariachi band playing so loud you can’t enjoy a conversation with the people you came with..most likely so that you so shut up and eat…then leave quickly so they can serve whoever has been waiting for 2 hours for subpar food. Don’t waste your time for wait!!
Grew up with this place <3. I grew up going here (since I was a baby) and 31 years later, I still LOVE it! The owners are a wonderful family that makes amazing and authentic Mexican food. I will continue going here forever! I also sometimes go to their Park Meadows location but the one up north is my favorite.
