Bad experience. We used to like this restaurant before it changed hands and names. Our last two experiences have been bad. A couple of nights ago my wife, daughter and I all got sick after eating at Mt. Fuji. This is the second time this happened. My daughter and I both got the trots and my wife was luckier in that she threw up the food after getting home. All three of us had the gyoza appetizer, teppan style dinner (steak & calamari for me, scallops for my wife and steak and shrimp for my daughter), and hot and sour soup. Off our list.

Pretty good, but all specialty rolls had cooked fish. We would have like More raw tuna or salmon in specialty rolls. Flavors were not as distinct as we would have liked between rolls. A little pricey, but not bad.

Wow! I hit the jackpot on sushi regardless of being 1500 miles from the ocean!. At a recent car show (5280fest), my wife and I were getting hungry towards the end and decided to look around the neighborhood. That is when we stumbled upon this place virtually right next door to Fat Cats. It was obvioius that Mt Fuji was a chain when my wife and I first stepped in. The setup was evenly split between dine-in (sushi) and hibachi. The place was fairly empty, but then again, it was 2:30pm on a Sunday when we went. The prices were pretty spot-on as far as sushi places go. Their most expensive roll was probably $13, and their cheapest (within reason) was $6. We were skeptical because normally for these prices, you’re going to get mediocre at best sushi. But we were wrong! The rolls came out (between 8 and 6 pieces per roll) and wow! the fish tasted fresh, the majority of the roll was actually fish, and the ingredients that came in it didn’t subtract from the taste. The crab was crab (not crab salad), the salmon and tuna pieces were very large and the avacado was extremely fresh. I highly recommend the 104th Roll by the way.Oh, and don’t forget to look up on the sushi bar’s wall because they list rolls that aren’t on the menu (my wife was bummed when she already ordered and then saw her favorite mango roll listed up on that chalkboard).Overall, it was great service, great food and we enjoyed ourselves here. If it wasn’t an hour and a half away from where we lived, I’d officially declare this our new favorite sushi place in Colorado.
