Fried Chicken. We love this place but I can’t seem to order anything except the fried chicken. We have ate there with the whole family and everyone loves The Wishbone. Only problem, the place gets packed. Often we don’t stop because cars are parked in the street and I hate packed restaurants. Also, be prepared for your clothes to smell like fried food for the rest of the day. Great family owned restaurant!!
Fried Chicken. I went here after reading everyone raving about their fried chicken. Good fried chicken is hard to find in Denver, and after mourning the demise of Kapre in Five Points and Joseph’s in Capital Hill, I’ve been on the hunt for some good fried chicken in the Denver area. Unfortunately, this is not where it is to be found. While the texture of chicken is good, the complete and total lack of seasoning makes it fall short. Very bland.My wife, who had the chicken fried steak, complained of the same problem. Everything we tried on the menu was very mediocre.
Amazing home cooking. I have passed this unassuming restaurant many times thinking I should try them sometime. I wish I would have gone sooner. This family run restaurant is like stepping back in time. This is truly an old fashioned family establishment, and that is a good thing. You won’t find any anything fancy or pretentious here, what you will find though is great food, with great service. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, while the manager helped ensure that we were completely taken care of and satisfied with our experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good home cooking, and at a very good price. We had way more food then we needed, and at very reasonable prices.
Awesome. Been goin to wishbone since i can remember. My grandma was a butcher there when my momma was a kid and i was pretty much raised there. I dont even care for chicken but I cant go without every trip there every time i go back. A must go.
This place is great. I had the best glass of ice-tea ever, so much ice I thought I was in heaven. The service is great and the food is rediculously good. Only down fall, it’s like eating in a old folks home, but the chicken is awesome.
