As good as Morton’s. I had the filet and it was as good as the big steak houses. Nice local service and attitude. The family style salad was a nice bonus. Bob, the owner, really cares.
Very dissappointing! We wen…. Very dissappointing!We went for a date night on a Friday night, made reservations like all the reviews said.. We were ready to drop a pretty penny! Sat for 15 minutes without getting greeted, how ever the Buser brought us water, moved to the bar thinking we would have better service. The owners apologized thought all would be great my medium filet came out well down, my husbands porterhouse ordered rare came out medium, the asparagus was like eating straw!The only great thing was the 65.00 dollar bottle of wine we bought!!Very disappointed ! I can think of several chains that cook and wait on tables like they want their customers to come back!!
Luke’s-A Waiting Place. Not good for groups. Unpreparedness and complacency resulted in slow service and unevenly prepared food. After waiting 3 hours with poor service, when our steaks finally came out they were cold and not cooked properly. Will NEVER go back.Inept beer selection. When are bars & restaurants going to realize that only offering Coors, Bud, and Fat Tire is the equivalent of only offering house wines. They have an extensive wine list with a great selection but Earth forbid they have at least one decent beer. Get with the times, this is Colorado not North Dakota.Analyze your external environment and ask: Are we offering the right products and services to meet the demands of our external environment?

Best Steak in Denver. This is a steak place, casual, friendly and unpretentious. http://lukesasteakplace.com/ The filet and New York Strip steaks are excellent. You have to try the pan fried potatoes and the sauteed mushrooms are to die for. The beef cows are corn fed and aged. The cheses cake is family recipe.Mike Lucas and family are pioneer Coloradoans. This is good clean food. Excellent all American salad, .Great wine list.I have been going here for years at least 100 times and have never had a bad experience. In fact we are going to their 20th anniversary on Friday November the 18th.The Clientele are all regulars (like 5000 of them). You best make a reservation. This is the kind of place sports figures come with their family or come to hide. You do see celebrities here . Great for business dinners.During Stock show season or Rodeo at Frontier days Lukes a Steak place is packed. All of the cowboys come here. Famous beef ranchers come here. Coaches come here.
