  We were regulars here and recommended it often. The past couple times we have come here the food isn’t appealing anymore. No apology they don’t really appreciate their customers led alone their regulars. Very disappointed unfortunately our once favorite place will no longer be. Have to find someone where else.24 May, 2014Service was awful. Food was over priced. Too loud. Last time eating here.

  Diner from out of state. I felt when I walked in that I would have an ideal dining experience. The open floor plan & the koi pond set the mood. The food was exceptional. It made me so very happy to be there! The service was excellent, too. The only thing I would change is the volume of the music in accordance to the number of customers.   Always a dining pleasure . Sushi just melts in your mouth. The volcano roll is delicious . Excellent service .

  Would Not Go Again!. Living in Branford,, my boyfriend and I have gone here quite a few times the food is great but the service is absolutely horrible. Our last experience we waited about 10-15 minutes to be acknowledged and it took another 10 minutes for the waitress to bring out our sodas along with our salads/soups. (Huge no-no to me, drinks should come first) The place was not busy whatsoever, so I have no idea what she could have been doing back there. The server and other staff were quick to refill my boyfriend’s soda a few times though, we were not aware that they began to charge for refills on these tiny glasses so I was extremely mad when we were charged for 4 sodas and never once were told. Whatever, you can charge for refills but you should make that aware to the people that don’t look at the beverage section of the menu….. Our food, as usual, took a little over a half hour to come out. At the restaurant I work at, if this ever happened, the meal would be absolutely free! 30 minutes ticket times are NOT acceptable and my meal was barely luke warm when it came out…. I finally complained as this is not the first time this has happened to us. The manager barely spoke english (as did any of the staff I’ve encountered) and it took a good bit of arguing for him to take the two extra drinks off the bill. I wasn’t trying to get a free meal, but the fact that he didn’t care, we did not tip our server (who we literally saw a good three times) and we informed him that we would not be coming back. If you want good service and a good, on time meal, do NOT come here.

  Amazing food! Steak hibachi was cooked perfect. Staff was very friendly and we were seated quickly ate promptly and had fun.

  Add your check. Salad was great —sushi average—-but they tried to charge me 38 dollars for a 15 dollar bottle of saki–not sure it was that unintentional since after making a slight fuss I didn’t see my waitress on the floor for the next 15 minutes—this place is all about money so don’t take the bottom of the check as accurate
