Great bread pudding!! If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t come… The bar manager is awful! The entire time I’ve been sitting here he’s been socializing and not doing a thing. He has absolutely has no personality and should not be in that position!! Won’t be back any time soon!!!

I ordered the chicken sandwich special which was a small chciken breast topped with 2 day old onion rings and bacon for…$10.99. A mashed potato pizza which tastes like cardboard for $10+ and a big green salad which I threw out after my disgust with the above. I will no longer go to the Reef. Talk about squeezing a penny. Your food couldn’t compete with a ballpark.
Lively & nice – reasonable price. My wife and I went to Donovan’s Reef on a Friday night – place was full, but we were able to be seated right away. Reservations might be warranted – it’s popular. Started off with pomegranate martini – excellent. Wife ordered chicken saltimbocca – very flavorful, and done – well, just right. I ordered Donovan’s Beef – a 10 ounce sirloin with a cabernet reduction. Steak was ordered medium, and arrived rare. Eerything else okay. High ceilings and open floor plan create echoes, so it can get noisey.
