This is good Indian food for the area. This is a family owned restaurant and the owner/cook obviously cooks everything from scratch and is very concerned about putting out good food. Lamb was a little dry but great flavor. Great place, and yes, since it’s real food from scratch it may not be super quick-in which case have the buffet!
This location has been an Indian restaurant for a long time, but it has changed hands and names. The current decor is way too dark. It’s also quite red which makes it look like someone’s basement rec room from the 70’s. the staff were very friendly and helpful, but overall service was extremely slow. In between courses there was very little attention from the staff inquiring about more drinks, water, etc. the pakora was average. Rather greasy. I got Shrimp Saag which had about 5-6 shrimp in a tastes, but very oily sauce. A friend got a tasty, but very spicy (and – you guessed it– slightly oily) but tasty sauce. It’s really nothing to rave about. It’s possible service would be better if they were less busy- but hey, it’s a restaurant in a Friday night– it’s what they are supposed to do.
If you like Indian food this is the best in the area. They are under new managment now & have had a slight change to the menu. The new chef makes some fantastic food.

The best Indian food I’ve ever had coupled with kind service and a very reasonable price makes this a favorite of ours. We even had them cater our wedding party! A must try if you are nearby.
