Good. I came to Jeffrey’s from what people have said about this place and I was curious as to how good their chinese food was. My boyfriend and I ordered an array of food to get a sense of the quality and we had ordered the shrimp with fried rice, broccoli and chicken with rice and it came with some form of cookie, egg roll and fortune cookies. My shrimp was good although they were the jumbo shrimps and the texture got a little funky but overall it was good tasting and not as salty as other locations. The only downfall was that they are expensive then a typical chinese take out location.

What Happened to Jeffrey’s??. Jeffrey’s used to be one of the best Chinese take out restaurants in the area. I tried this the other day after talking it up to a friend and we ordered a bunch of food. For some reason, most of what we ordered had a weird taste to it, sugary/cinnamon type of taste. It was just out of place when you have this taste on egg rolls, lo mein, pork fried rice and crab ran-goon’s. My General Tso’s was pretty good, it was basically the same as the rest in the area but my friend ordered the Crispy Sesame Shrimp and Chicken and there was nothing crispy about it, since it was drowned in sauce and soggy. Also, the lo mein seemed almost overcooked and the fried noodles they give you for free were saturated in oil, which made me think that the fryer’s are not hot enough and worry’s me with their other food they are cooking. I really hope they get back on track because Jeffrey’s used to be fantastic, and now I don’t know if I will go back….
Very disappointing. sesame chicken was only good entree out of three.
Been going for 10 years. Best place in the area hands down. I live 1/2 hour away and still only order Chinese takeout from Jeffrey’s.
