Classic food with a cult following. JK’s is one of those places that has people craving their dogs ALL over the world. The dogs come with a secret sauce but if you don’t do onions get them without the secret sauce. Fries usually come on the side unless you get a combo plate but they are well worth ordering…better yet get a half and half to enjoy some rings too! This is a cash only business so make sure you have real money on you.
Okay…. I went there yesterday based upon people that I knew and have mentioned how much they like their food. The only thing good out of that place is maybe the milk shake, I also ordered the cheese fries and they were tasteless they had no seasoning, and very much bland. It was nothing spectacular.

LOVE JK’s. OK Obe Wan – This maybe nostalgia more than taste, it might be about where I was bred and not so much the rolls – But JK’s RULES!!!
People in Danbury really settle for completely unspectacular food. This is nothing special. Why do people rave about it? Food isn’t tasty or well prepared.
Good Food. JK’s is just good food. Nothing fancy on the inside and reminds me of a dinner in ways. I go for their Texas style hot dogs and chili dogs, very good! Definitely worth a shot if you haven’t given it a try…
Love this place!. I grew up eating here. My Grandfather would bring me here all the time as a boy. I always got the Meatball Grinder and a Vanilla Pepsi. He always loved the Texas Hot Wieners. I don’t live in the area anymore, But the last time I came home to Danbury, I stopped in. it was as if nothing had ever changed!
