Tried their food at Taste of Danbury, and LOVED IT! We shop here now to have home cooked Indian, and get takeout on special occasions. I especially love their lunch takeout special – awesome deal!
Great Indian Takeout!. I was having trouble finding an inexpensive option for Indian takeout near Danbury when I stumbled across this gem. The staff is friendly and helpful, clearly a family owned establishment. The restaurant is within an authentic Indian grocery store, and consists of a small takeout line with few, but delicious options. The butter chicken was simply to die for. Everything was so tasty you really can’t go wrong, and at those prices we were able to try a little of each dish! Absolutely worth a stop in, I guarantee you’ll be hooked after one visit!
The best. This is easily some of the best Indian food I’ve had. I recommend all of the dishes, as I think that in all the times I have bought take out from the Mango Tree, I have probably tasted every dish. The one entree I would recommend the most though, is the Butter Chicken. Sublime is an appropriate description. I highly recommend The Mango Tree and give it a deserved 5 stars. – Bon Ap.
