Max 40 was fantastic! The atmosphere is upscale without being snooty, the service was great, and the food was amazing! Definitely a great date place or place to bring a group!
Enjoyed it!. One of the best places in Danbury. Atmosphere and dcor is like no other in the area. Have been there for business dinners and the food and service were great. Wide selection on the menu (from burgers to steak to fish and pasta) makes it a perfect place to bring anyone. Will be back.
Funky atmosphere, great food. We weren’t quite sure what to make of the place the first time we drove by – huge heavy drapes through which we could see a black & white movie being projected on a wall. A few weeks later we decided to give it a try, and glad we did – been back twice since. The atmosphere is unique, upscale and casual. The menu is all over the place (Branzino, burgers, filet minon, pizza) and so far it’s all good – well prepared and presented. Save room for dessert – the Chocolate Velvet is outstanding! I’ve since learned the place is owned by a team of local well known and respected restauranteurs – they clearly know what they’re doing.
