Great Spot for breakfast. I never had lunch there, but before going to McDonalds or another fast food resturant i go to Maddies. For less than what i spend at McDonalds i can get a good size full breakfast at Maddies. The staff will treat you right and there local people that i support. If your not looking for it you won’t find it, it’s behind subway. My kid loves it, he loves the extra whip cream in his hot chocolate!!!!

Hit or Miss – a BIG miss today. Had lunch today. Go here a few times per month, so expectations are pretty well managed (i.e. a typical 1 star diner.) Today ordered a Chicken Caesar salad; friend ordered a Big Tossed salad. Both were EXACTLY the same, except for a warm piece of fried chicken breast on the Caesar salad. Iceberg, tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded cheddar cheese., etc.. Not even a close interpretation … BUT it was $3.50 more…Waitress never came back to check on our table, nor did cashier ask how the meal was.. Will go back again, but will ask more questions about menu items ordered for the first time.

Breakfast at Maddies. The servers are young locals who either work for the family or part of Maddies family. The food is home cooking breakfast, nothing fancy but you leave full and don’t have to clean the pans and silverware like at home. The cook staff is always on the move to make sure your meal is served in a timely manor. The decor is nothing to rave to the New York Times about but again, its a small family owned business that is working hard to stay a float in these tough economic times without cutting any corners. Saturday morning hang over, or lazy sunday brunch, Maddies is a place to get your morning started
