Take me away to Italy. I was very impressed with the food. I had a great time, the service was wonderful. My waiter was very funny and did a great job. We had Prince Edward Island mussles in a delicious white wine sauce. I had egg batter sole with spinach which i’m glad i took home, better the second day. My husband has scallops with cheese and that was the best i have ever tasted. We also had dessert which just topped the meal. My husband had a cream puff which was outstanding, the shell was light and flaky, the cream center wasn’t to sweet and the chocolate just made the whole thing perfect. I had a peach turnover, which was a light flaky pouch with soft peaches in the middle. Great food and the atmosphere made me feel like i went to Italy for dinner.
We have eaten dinner here several times but won’t in the future–the dining room is comfortable and the staff very attentive however the food has proven to be mediocre at best and horrible at worst. I rarely complain to management I just don’t return, however on my recent visit there I wanted them to know how inadequate my dinner was. I was shocked when the manager truly blew it off as not his problem. Too bad, this place is really convenient to my home too and we enjoy treating our family and friends for dinner– we will have to look further for good italian
