Diner Selection with Fast Food Prices. The menu is a bit overwhelming when you first walk in to this fast food restaurant, but the difference is that Duchess is high quality fast food that’s not just burgers. They have salads, fried clams, shrimp, veal parm, deli sandwiches. Amazing. For the sandwiches, Duchess makes their own rolls off premises and has their own butcher that ships all the meat in for the burgers. No wonder this CT only restaurant has almost a cult-like following. You can add Chili to almost anything and their chili hot dog is amazing. Almost anything you want to eat – sort of like a diner – but served walk up counter style like fast food. If it’s not on the menu ask for it. Lots of options on all the burgers and sandwiches. We LOVE Duchess.
