The Best!Never disappointed. Different flavors and textures. Their version of the reuben is sooo delicious! Short rib with swiss and horseraddish thousand… Yumm. Bacon and eggs with truffle oil… Need i say more? Street cart chicken. Staff is attentive and always has a positive attitude. Every sunday theres live entertainment for brunch. Entire atmosphere is enjoyable would recommend to anyone
The Foundry is one of my favorite stops when I’m in the Newtown area. There is an excellent menu selection and the food never disappoints. The waitstaff here is also very accommodating. Friendly, helpful, and attentive but not intrusive. From sandwiches to full dinners, there is something for every appetite. And if you want to make it an extra special evening, come on most Wednesday and Saturday evenings for the sounds of the very talented singer/musician Drew Bordeaux.
Always Great. Love this place. Great service and creative well prepared dishes are always what you will get here. From apps. To dessert you will enjoy every bite. Sunny day on the patio just tops it all off.Winner, winner!
Beer and Ales. It’d be nice if they poured a beer correctly. the foundry has some very good micro beers (ales and IPAs) and if one really appreciates them a drought should have a head of about 3/4 of an inch and not less than 1/2 inch. The reason for this is not only for appearance sake but the first taste of the beer comes from the aroma of the exploding bubbles. And as everyone knows the nose has a lot to do with the taste.
Foundry continues to deliver great experiences. Have dined at Foundry numerous times in the last year. Have never had a bad meal and more often than not have had something truly outstanding. Several dishes with short ribs are terrific and the Kobe beef hot dog is unusual and great to split. From specials menu which always changes I once had a wild boar rice bowl which was an amazing, memorable curry dish. Staff is attentive and bar is terrific. Good specialty beers, thoughtful wines and super mixed drinks. The music on Wednesday and Saturday nights is fun and makes for a great evening out. The bar is not large so a Saturday can get overcrowded.
Outdoor river views. We love to dine outside and listen to the river flowing. Have not had a bad meal there yet.
Love It. Food is awesome! Highly recommend the calamari. The Korean ketchup is amazing. Never had anything I didn’t like. The nutella ice cream that comes with the chocolate cake is sooo yummy!! Service rocks. Go, you won’t regret it.
