Poorly run. I had been eagerly waiting the opening of Geronimo in Fairfield as we love the one in New Haven . We went on a busy Friday night and the hostess was incredibly rude. Wont go back. They had a huge crowd but a half dozen tables sat empty for over an hour

Horrible service and managrement. First, the place is dark and noisy. First time I’ve ever had to use my phone to light up the menu. Our party was two adults and a teenager. The teen ordered a flatbread + three tacos. We thought when the menu said three tacos you could order three different types so he did. The adults each ordered a burrito. The waitress took our order with no questions asked. Well…when the table isn’t big enough to hold all the plates that arrive something is wrong. It’s not three tacos pen order…it’s three tortillas per order. So my teenage son ended up ordering 9 tacos….and the waitress didn’t say a word. How in the world could she not point out that we had ordered enough food for an army. I questioned her and she said it’s not her place to point out that we had over ordered. Then comes the manager. He’s really sorry but they’ve only been open a week and it’s uncomfortable to point out that you’ve over ordered. No admission of a problem, lack of training or that maybe the customer is right….and all the while with a disturbing smirk on his face. They take two of the taco’s off the bill but NO other compensation. Not a free drink, not coffee, not dessert. The food was good but the service is incompetent and the management would be better off running a gas station. Buyer beware.
