Fairfield Cafe–Now Iso’s. So the lovely Fairfield cafe by the new metro station is now re-opened. They have made many new changes, one of which is their name. It is no longer Fairfield cafe, but now Iso’s. They also changed their menu (good pricing), their chef (who i am told is from New York), new service, and some renovations were done. Living down the street from this place I go often, and they have never disappointing me, and todays lunch proved that they made a great decision in making these changes… And the staff was very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend this place.
Love this gem of a place. It’s a hidden somewhat unknown local restaurant and it is filled with heart and a great menu. In Fairfield County it’s unusual to find a spot like this- where there live music on fridays by Al Ferrante, who brings usually a 6 piece band with him- or Thursday nights- the GEM of the week, their awesome Hungarian night. Chicken Paprikash like my grandmother used to make- stuffed cabbage, goulash, it’s all good.The menu is varied and good. The staff is the nicest staff of any restaurant I’ve been to in the area. Truly friendly- career waiters/waitresses. Super nice. Every time I go I feel good when I leave- like I visited relatives who I like. The food came quickly and to order. We’ll definately be back. Also- very good party rental space. Have to remember that !For the kitch in you, they have Hungarian Night every Thursday and the Chicken Paprikash is delicious. They used to have an old Hungarian man walking around with an accordian for this night. I always have a nice time when I go on a Thurs. It’s a good night to bring your parents. And your appetite.Sundays they have a very nice brunch. I’m about a twice-yearly eggs benedict eater, and it’s here that I get it.
Delicious!. I come here very often. Theyve got hungarian night every thursday and sunday. Delicious food. The service is friendly great! My personal favorite is the Cafe burger. It is delicious. Also on hungarian night the chicken paprikash is fantastic! There is also a waitress who wears a hungarian blouse and almost plays the part of a hungarian! Highly recommend it.
Good new spot for us. We just had brunch there (stuffed cabbage, omelet) and were very pleased with the service, food (quality and quantity), and overall ambience of the place. Think it is a good place to take our guests, and we will be back.
Yum, yum and then some!. Went just prior to a show at the Klein. The service was super: friendly, fast and efficient; got us in and out within 45 minutes. My husband and I had lobster risotto, and let me tell you, it knocked our socks off it was so yummy! We ate every precious morsel; we will definitely go back there again.
Good Food friendly service. I enjoy the Fairfield Cafe for its original menu and reasonable prices. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. My favorite place to sit is at the bar where the service is good and the conversation is always cheerful! I think everyone should try it! It will not dissapoint. keep up the good work!
Great spot. My fav is the mussels. So nice to sit at cafe table in the bar, great range of prices and food choices for everyone. Moses, the chef, will make any adjustments you request. We’ve been there a few times now and each time was consistent and delicious. Great selection of wine by the glass too. Hope they keep it up!
