Good everything. Go!
Kolam! Kolam!. One of my all-time favorites for Indian buffets! If all my veggies were done like Kolam cooks them, I’d never eat meat again. But I’m loving the Chicken Tikka and the Keema too. A mango lassi coolly smoothes the spicy heat of the buffet’s offering, as will their hot tea. I love the buttery naan bread and the coconut rice pudding Kheer, and the carrot-honey halvah. My only complaint is this–I want to see the return of my lunch punch card, please! Love the service people, always great, every visit.
The food was rich and luscious. I’m sure it was made with tons if cream and ghee. (Not a bad thing.) The decor is a bit rundown, but the staff was nice and service good. It’s a bit out of my way– but definitely worth it.
Solid choice for Indian. Excellent lunchtime buffet. Dinner service is busy on weekends, but solid classic Indian restaurant offerings – chicken tikka, korma, rogan josh.
The woman who ran Kolam was gracious and so helpful with our menu selections. The food was excellent and tge desserts (try the carrot dessert) were superb. Definitely going back!!!
Horrible. Waited for someone to seat us for 15 minutes, the place was relaively empty, the bar tender was working on some personal work, the chef walked across from us twice and did not pay attention and actually talked to some people who were sitting and eating. We were waiting with an infant !!!finally after 15 minutes we left as no one ever seated us.
