A very good experience. This was our first visit since their reopening and they did not disappoint. We joined friends in the pub room before dinner and found the beer and wine selection very good. The wait staff was attentive but not overbearing, seems like they have a good team of experienced folks. Dinner was beyond my expectation. I ordered the seared tuna and it was delicious. The portion was also bigger than I anticipated. Again, the staff showed that same level of professionalism and our server had us laughing a couple of times. I will return for more.

Hal. We had a reservation for 5 and were seated at a table for 2. They would not re-seat us. One of our party never could get comfortable because she couldn’t get her legs under the table. The kitchen needs serious help. Our entrees came after 2 after 2 hours and was not cooked as ordered; but we were so hungry by then we ate it anyway. Nothing special about the food or the menu. The waitress knew we treated badly and stayed away even more. The fire marshal needs to inspect the place on weekends. Could not get to the restrooms or the exit without knocking people over at their tables. Will not be returning to the Redding Roadhouse.

Loss of an iconic Redding restaurant that served bad food. My family and I ate there in December, 2013. It’s difficult to keep a restaurant open when the food is no good.

Save yourself the trouble. The food is okay, if overpriced, but the service is abysmal. They seem to be trying to go upscale in menu and pricing but you’d get better service in a greasy spoon diner. There are better choices in Georgetown or Bethel, go there instead and save yourself the heartache of having to endure the service here.

Good Pub food, Bar area. I haven’t eaten dinner here but have had a few burgers, chicken wings, calamari among other munchies, and beer on tap here. For the pub food and atmospher its a fun spot to stop off at and hang out. But don’t order the Lobster Chowder, the only disappointment. Guinness, Bodingtons, Harp, Serria Nevada, just to mention a few on tap.
